Keep on Moving

I've disappeared from my blog, but that doesn't mean I've stopped working.

I'm going on a ski vacation next week, so I've been trying to increase my endurance so as to take full advantage of my time out on the slopes. I've told myself I'm going to do 3 miles a day until it's time to leave. It doesn't matter if it's running, or walking, I just need to finish them.

I've generally run 2 of the miles, and then increased the incline and walked hills for the other mile.

I've also been doing body weight exercises--push ups, sit ups, squats, etc. Nothing crazy, but enough to keep my heart rate up and feel it a little the next day.

Most importantly I've been watching what I'm eating again. I found a great website that let's you choose how many calories you want to eat a day and gives you a meal plan for the week based on it. Unlike Sparkpeople's meal plan though it's smart enough to figure out that you can use left overs for lunch and dinner and takes that into account.

It's been more cooking, but I'm getting all my fruits and veggies in, and along with more water and a multi-vitamin every day I feel great. I no longer feel fatigued in the middle of the day and I'm losing weight. :)

Since I started the meal plan, and exercising I've lost 3 pounds. 14 more to go!
