Progress
So...I lost a lot of weight a long time ago. I topped out a little over 200 pounds, and bottomed out around 135. When I got to 135 I thought to myself: "I will never gain the weight back so I never have to lose weight again."
Fast forward 2 years and I'm really struggling to get rid of these last 10-15 pounds again. How was I able to do it the first time? Why am I yo-yoing so much this time around?
I'm still keeping a spreadsheet of my weigh ins, and while the overall trend is downward it's frustratingly slow and erratic. According to the regression line I'll lose 5 pounds in about 4 months. :\
All of this is just slightly frustrating and makes going to the gym 5 days a week seem futile and tiring.
I really need to change my mindset. I need to just get the job done because I know it needs to be done. I'm making dinner for me and my boyfriend tonight. I will still exercise. I'll exercise at the gym tomorrow in order to lift weights.
I hope this funk goes away.
