10 Miler Training
Yesterday's workout went pretty well. I did something like 4.6 miles in 1 hour and 10 minutes.
Yes, I'm still going pretty slowly. But hey, that's a lot of time and miles. Soon I will be running for the whole hour and not falling over dead afterwards. That's all I'm waiting for. :D
And, just as important, today is the first day in a while that I've felt slim again. I didn't drop ten pounds over night of course. It's mostly mental, but I like that phantom skinny feeling. I get it when I'm taking care of myself, and running and eating well. Ha. Maybe it's just a healthy feeling. :3 But my lower tummy bulge is going down. My tummy is almost perfectly flat again! Of course that's not where I keep my extra weight *stares at lower body*
Ah well. All in good time. I would love to be 5 pounds lighter by my birthday though. It gives me a little more than a month to do it.
I think today I'm going my "hard" run. Then Saturday I'm going to go for a morning and evening workout. We'll see how that works out.
